Your haven, a luxury retreat

Loved it! The staff is incredibly friendly and customer service was top notch! Special shout out to Emma, Nina, Frank and everyone who took such great care of us! Our room was stunning with a plunge pool, 2 outdoor showers and 1 indoor. Very spacious and clean! We had a delicious dinner at Fusion, the resort restaurant and Lucky made great cocktails for us.

We stayed 2 nights at The Retreat, a few days apart. The accommodations were stunning – beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Food at The Fusion restaurant and Heaven restaurant were both excellent. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at.

This is probably the nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. It is an incredible place to relax. There is a saltwater pool, spa with massage and sauna, amazing restaurants, etc. The staff were phenomenal. I will definitely be back.

I cannot praise the restaurant enough. There is a reason it has the reputation as the best restaurant in Kigali. Ranging from the amazing cocktails mixed by the equally amazing Gisele to the delicious international cuisine that melted on your tongue, The only regret I personally have is that I did not venture out more to other restaurants as I got hooked on the delicious food from the Heaven restaurant. The staff was amazing and always had time to make sure you were enjoying yourself. Emanuel was a great server who made sure that all your culinary wishes were taken care of and that you enjoyed your stay

Staying at The Retreat was a highlight of our trip to Africa! We enjoyed every aspect of it. Our room was perfection after a long trip (as was the spa!) – and we especially loved our serene private patio and outdoor shower, surrounded by birds, flowers, and the sounds of nature. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, and we took full advantage of being able to relax/drink/dine in the beautiful pool area. The owners (Alissa and Josh) were absolutely lovely, and it was a treat to get to know them during our stay.
